Ergonomics Training

Our ergonomics training is designed to help workers understand the importance of correct ergonomics in the prevention of injury and enable them to apply ergonomic principles in the set-up and maintenance of their workstation.

Training is offfered through public courses or we can tailor the training and deliver to your workers on-site.  

Our trainers: All ergonomics training is delivered by a qualified occupational therapist or physiotherapist.

Certificates: All participants receive a certificate on completion of the training.

Tailored on-site training

Our tailored ergonomics training is a cost-effective approach to training for your business.

Our experienced trainers will work with you to develop a program specifically for your workplace. This can include undertaking a workplace assessment to identify areas of risk and designing training to use practical examples and case studies relevant to the participants' work and work environment.

Training is generally held over 2 hours but we can reduce or extend the course duration to meet your requirements.

We can also train specific staff in basic ergonomic assessments, ensuring they meet specific competencies to set up other employees desks/workstation.

Public training 

This comprehensive training is offered one-on-one or for small to mid sized groups at our offices. It covers the key requirements for this topic including:

  • Anatomy, posture and biomechanics of injuries
  • Workstation hazards
  • Workstation ergonomic assessments and set-up
  • Work fitness and pause stretch exercises
