Our Career Journey Here At Rehab Management
This month, we feature three of our team members as we follow their RM journey over the past few years.
Carl started off at Rehab Management as a new graduate in 2015 and was promoted in November 2020 to Area Manager in ACT. This is his story:
“I started at Rehab Management back in August 2015 as a new graduate. I had a brief stint in clinical work prior to working at Rehab Management and had quickly realised that clinical work wasn’t for me. I was looking for a job that would have a good balance of face to face work with clients but also have time allocated for notes etc. After a few months of working at Rehab Management I quickly realised it had ‘fallen on my feet’ and found the job I had been searching for. One of the reasons I believe that I have stayed with Rehab Management for so long is that upper management genuinely cares about consultants’ welfare and wellbeing. Even during tough times, I have always had managers past and present reach out to me and help guide me through. Rehab Management has also given me a lot of opportunity to progress in my career and this has been something that has helped keep me motivated.”

Our team in Victoria has also been going from strength to strength, having recently been awarded by WorkSafe Victoria as 3 STAR provider in both OES and NES – the maximum star rating a provider can achieve. One of the Area Managers, Dean Barry, talks about his RM journey since 2014.
“Since joining Rehab Management in 2014 as an Employment Consultant I have been supported to obtain my RC qualification, and provided ongoing development opportunities that have allowed me to grow as a consultant and leader. I was provided an opportunity to assist in leading the NES team in Victoria, and then as a Team Leader and Assistant Area Manager. I mid 2019 I was promoted to Area Manager – Melbourne. I love working for Rehab Management as I get to work with a great team and achieve outcomes that make a difference to people’s lives.”

Last but not least, we have Daniel Zeina, one of our longest serving employees and mentor to a strong Victorian and South Australian team.
“I joined Rehab Management 7 years ago as a Rehab Consultant after spending 12 months working as a graduate Exercise Physiologist in a hospital. I came from a business/management background prior. 6 months into my employment with Rehab Management, I was placed on a succession plan towards Team Leader. The business then saw an opportunity to develop out in regional/western Victoria. I started servicing these regions before recruiting permanent staff members in Bendigo and Geelong. Not long after, as a result of the success in Regional VIC, I was then promoted to Area Manager. About 2 years later, I was given an opportunity to manage both the Melbourne and Western VIC business centres. In early 2019, I was then promoted to State Manager VIC. I am now currently the Group State Manager for VIC and SA. This journey is a true testament of the opportunities provided at Rehab Management.”
