Toby celebrates 10 years with Rehab Management
This week we celebrated a 10-year work anniversary, congratulations to Toby Newton-McGee our Regional Manager for Western Sydney. In celebrating this milestone for Toby, we have asked him a few questions about his time here at Rehab Management, how he started his career with us and what his daily routine looks like, read the interview below to find out more.
- How did you start your career with Rehab Management?
Some friends from Uni moved into the Occupational Rehab role after graduating, and after trying clinical EP for 6 months I realised I wasn’t suited to it, so I interviewed with Rehab Management (RM) and realised this was the field I wanted to work in ongoing.
- What are the day-to-day activities involved in your role?
As a consultant I was on the road every day seeing different workplaces and injuries. Now I am in the office each day making sure that the consultants have everything they need to do their job.
- What is your most memorable moment during your time at Rehab Management?
I have had a few enjoyable moments including some Christmas parties, although the best moments are when a client reaches their preinjury capacity and show how appreciative they are for our support.
- What is the best thing about working at Rehab Management?
Flexibility and Variety.
- What is something people may not know about you?
I love my sport but most people know that. My go to fact is that my father was one of the main astrophysicists involved in the Apollo 11 Moon landing. If anyone has seen The Dish, then you would have seen his role.
Thank you Toby for taking the time to share a little bit about your work with us!
