A Day in the Life of Tsolin

Based in Parramatta, Senior Rehabilitation Consultant Tsolin brings a strong occupational therapy background and a clear purpose to her work each day. She chose the occupational rehabilitation field because she is “passionate about helping people rebuild their independence and confidence after injury” . Supporting clients to return to meaningful activity – whether at work, home, or in the community – continues to motivate her.

What a typical day looks like

Tsolin’s days are varied and fast‑paced. Her role involves attending medical reviews, completing assessments, liaising with key stakeholders, and documenting client progress. As she explains, “every day is not the same – it varies from attending medical reviews, completing assessments, liaising with key stakeholders, and documenting client’s progress.”

This variety allows her to combine clinical reasoning with practical problem‑solving, ensuring each client receives tailored and effective support.

Making a difference

One of Tsolin’s most memorable achievements involved supporting a client with a moderate traumatic brain injury following a severe accident. Through structured, personalised rehabilitation strategies, she helped him gradually rebuild functional capacity – from basic daily tasks to community engagement. She recalls that “seeing him regain control over his routine and reconnect with his life was incredibly rewarding.”

A fun fact about Tsolin is that she is a fraternal twin!
