A Day in the Life of Morgan
What is your role?
Team Leader (Exercise Physiologist)
What does an average day look like for you?
I love that every day is very much different to the next! A typical day might include helping our 3 new starters settle into their roles with Rehab Management, checking in on clients to keep my cases moving, and as part of the physical team I am often completing functional capacity evaluations, ergonomics assessments, or workplace assessments. To start the day, I’ll also make an effort not to burn my toast in the office.
Why did you choose to work in this role?
I found myself in Occupational Rehabilitation through a mix of chance and opportunity after relocating back to Tassie post‑COVID. I had little idea what I was stepping into at the time, but I’m very grateful I did.
What do you love most about your role?
I love working in a role that can make such a positive difference in people’s lives. The flexibility, and variety of my day to day is something that I am very grateful for, as well as the opportunity to grow across different areas of the business. I also must mention the South Tasmania team, who are incredibly supportive and make it easy to come into work every day.
Fun fact about Morgan
The most interesting thing about me is my Border Collie cross, Ziggy. Of a weekend you’ll often find us at the beach, or exploring the Tasman Peninsula.
