Initial Needs Assessment
A face-to-face assessment undertaken to explore the background to the injury; current symptoms, treatment and prognosis, psychosocial factors, employment history, and the exploration of return to work options.
New Employer Case Management
A return to work plan is developed with agreement from all stakeholders, identifying suitable vocational goals for the injured person. Services include vocational assessment, job search skills training, use of vocational programs, reverse marketing and reporting.
A face-to-face interview to examine an injured person’s transferable skills to identify appropriate vocational options, taking into consideration their work capacity and potential remuneration. Assessment can include labour market analysis if required.
Labour Market Analysis
Desktop research undertaken to determine the functional requirements of a position, likely remuneration, training and education level required and local labour market opportunities. May be completed as part of a vocational assessment or as a stand-alone report.
Transferable Skills Analysis
An assessment to explore an injured person’s education, training and work history to identify skills transferable to alternate positions within their work capacity.
RMExpress (Online or face-to-face)
Aimed at providing the injured person with the skills to be able to independently job seek. Modules focus on interview preparation, canvassing employers, mock interviews and overcoming barriers.
RM Step into Work (Face-to-face)
An eight week, face-to-face, intensive job seeking program for individuals with extensive barriers. This could include limited hours, from a non-English speaking background or individuals requiring literacy and numeracy assistance in job seeking. In conjunction with the job seeking training, injured workers are placed in a Work Trial or given placement assistance to gage employability potential, capacity and suitable employment options.
A 12 week, face-to-face, intensive job seeking program for individuals who are able to participate in group based job seeking at any of Rehab Management’s offices. Using interactive sessions, the injured person will be assisted with supported job seeking, placement assistance and given extensive skills and training to independently job seek.
RMReach (Online or Tele)
Job Seeking and placement assistance is delivered online in a 10 week group program for remote or travel restricted individuals with existing computer or phone skills. Modules focus on emailing, improving computer skills and supported placement and canvassing activities.
RM Placement Services
Designed for individuals who are employable and require placement assistance only. Rehab Management will assist the injured person to secure either a Work Trial or placement dependent on their individual requirements.
