A Day in the life of Jamieson

From semi-professional basketball courts to the fast-paced world of workplace rehabilitation, Jamieson Lewis brings energy, empathy and excellence to everything he does. Based in Osborne Park, Jamieson is has been a finalist in the Arriba Group Manager of the Year award category every year since he joined in 2020 – and it’s easy to see why.

From the court to the clinic

Not many people know that Jamieson was once a semi-professional basketball player. These days, he’s swapped the court for the ping pong table – and considers himself a borderline semi-pro table tennis player. But it’s not just sport that drives him. Jamieson’s passion for helping others led him to study Exercise Physiology, and it’s that same motivation that fuels his career in Workplace Rehabilitation.

People first, always

Jamieson’s love for his role is rooted in the people he works with. He describes his team as “amazing, like-minded and motivated” – but most importantly, “great human beings”. For Jamieson, work doesn’t feel like work when you’re surrounded by such a supportive and inspiring group.

No two days the same

Jamieson thrives on variety. His days are never predictable – and that’s exactly how he likes it. Whether leading strategic initiatives or supporting and coaching his team, each day brings new challenges and opportunities.

Making a real difference

One moment that stands out in Jamieson’s career is helping a worker return to work after a significant stroke. After six months away, the worker walked back into the workplace – a moment that deeply moved not just Jamieson, but the worker’s family and colleagues.
