As an Occupational Therapist, I love connecting with different people and getting to know them as individuals, learning their stories and using my clinical skills to help them improve their quality of life and overall happiness.

I love to learn my client’s stories behind their issues.

The essence of being an Occupational Therapist is therapy for what ‘occupies’ your time. That means we can address and be a part of rehabilitating the whole person. We can be involved in self-care and normal daily activities both life skills and leisure. All of these activities are so important for a person’s wellbeing and quality of life, all of these activities are extremely important to me and so I love that I can be a part of helping someone ‘get their life back’.
Rita, NSW
I love being an Occupational Therapist because I get to help people develop individual goals and work with them to achieve what is meaningful to them – whether this is going to work, brushing their teeth or walking their dog. Everyone’s goals are different, so every day is different. It keeps me on my toes!
