A Day in the Life of Isabelle

This week, we had the pleasure of speaking with one of our dedicated Rehabilitation Consultants, Isabelle, whose passion for empowering others is at the heart of everything she does.

With a strong background in vocational rehabilitation and a genuine love for working with people, she brings both empathy and expertise, serving those in Hobart.

A Career Built on Purpose
Her journey into the industry was driven by a desire to help individuals realise their potential. “I’ve always enjoyed working with people and supporting them through challenging times. Helping someone regain their confidence and find meaningful employment is incredibly rewarding.”

A Day on the Move
Isabelle’s days are dynamic and varied. She often begins her mornings travelling to client appointments across the region.

“There’s a real energy to my role,” she explains. “I’m constantly on the move—out in the field, meeting people, understanding their challenges firsthand. That face-to-face connection is where the real impact happens.”

Whether she’s sitting down with clients to map out their progress or partnering with employers to develop tailored return-to-work strategies, each day brings something new.

In the afternoon, Isabelle is back at the office, connecting with her team to share insights and brainstorm solutions. “I’m lucky to work with such a friendly and supportive group. We’re constantly bouncing ideas off each other, which helps us deliver the best outcomes for our clients.”

One of her most memorable experiences involved supporting a client who had lost confidence after a period of unemployment.

Through consistent encouragement and tailored support, she helped the client secure a new role—an outcome that reaffirmed her commitment to others. “Seeing that transformation and knowing I played a part in it was a proud moment” Isabelle says.

Beyond the Workplace
While her professional life is focused on helping others move forward, she also brings a unique flair to the team—having spent eight years training in ballroom dancing. It’s a fun fact that reflects her discipline, creativity, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
