WorkCover WA Conference 2022 wrap up

On 16 November, Rehab Management joined over 450 delegates from the worker’s compensation and injury management industry at the Optus Stadium in Perth, for the WorkCover WA Conference 2022. The Conference celebrated 40 years of WorkCover WA and brought together industry experts and stakeholders to share knowledge and spotlight current trends and issues in the industry landscape while highlighting the conference theme – ‘Reflect on the past and focus on the future’.

The speaker schedule delivered insightful stories and engaging discussions on contemporary issues facing the worker’s compensation and injury prevention sector. Rehab Management started off the concurrent sessions with Renee Thornton (General Manager, Rehab Management) joined by James Cairns and Julie Mitchell (Allianz Australia) to present on psychological claims in the workplace and the impact on worker’s compensation in the ‘Build a better normal – Case studies from the field’ session.

Rehab Management also exhibited the innovative programs and services we offer at the marketplace exhibition. Our Rehab Management team, Angela Pilcher and Ayden Demeijer, engaged key existing and potential future partners in the worker’s compensation and injury management industry during the cocktail and networking functions and we look forward to further developing the connections made at the conference.

Rehab Management would like to thank James and Julie from Allianz Australia and WorkCover WA for helping make the conference a great success for all involved.
