Rehab Management Events – June Review

Rehab Management attended both the Comcare 2022 National Conference in Canberra and the Workplace Wellness Festival in Sydney this June, before the management team joined the Arriba Group leaders at the Arriba Group Annual Leadership Forum & Awards.

Rehab Management was a sponsor for the Comcare 2022 National Conference (7th – 8th June), which saw 750+ delegates join over 35 sponsors and exhibitors with the aim of ‘creating a safer workplace together’. Rehab Management were very involved in proceedings with CEO Renee Thornton chairing sessions on ‘How artificial intelligence and behavioural insights are improving claim outcomes’ and ‘Working towards a safer culture for nurses and midwives’.

Arriba Group’s Head of Innovation Michelle Barratt presented at the conference on ‘Digital Health Transformation: Using technology to enhance employee wellbeing’ in which she highlighted some of innovative digital tools Rehab Management has invested in to improve staff wellbeing and safety such as the CheckInToday program which received a High Commendation in the Early Intervention at the 2021 Comcare National Work Health and Safety Awards.

During the conference, our Rehab Management team of Renee Thornton, Camilla Griffin and Katie Abigail connected with clients and other industry professionals and made connections with new potential partners. The Comcare National Conference was ‘a wonderful event bringing together representatives from all areas of the industry allowing us to work together to improve the health outcomes for all”.

Later in the month Rehab Management, represented by Michelle Barratt, Anastasia Hadjidemetri and Trudi Crapp, partnered with AimBig to exhibit at the Workplace Wellness Festival to engage with clients and businesses. to The team discussed how Rehab Management’s innovative digital tools and services can improve the mental & physical wellbeing of employees in the workplace. Early intervention tools as well as mental health and ergonomic assessments were just some of the services that drew heavy attention across the two days.

Michelle and Anastasia went from the Workplace Wellness Festival to the Kimpton Margot Hotel in Sydney, for 2 days of conference with the Arriba Group leaders to reflect on the achievements of the last year and look ahead to the challenges and opportunities in the next financial year at the Arriba Group’s Annual Leadership Forum and Awards. The Awards evening recognised outstanding performers across the Arriba Group

  • Manager of the Year – Toby Newton-McGee,
  • Company Value award winners – Alisha Telford (People-Passionate), Carl Hynes (Dynamic & Agile), Linda Byrnes (Innovation-driven).
